Assignments

Prerequisite

You will need your GitHub account for most assignments. Many times there will be a related repository to be cloned and then submitted.

Assignment SetUp

The process for setting up for nearly all the exercises and assignments is the same. Here are the set up steps to follow

In-Class Exercises 30%

These exercises will all be started in class. Some of them can be finished after class. They will each have a specific due date and time.

Quizzes 20%

HTML/CSS Quizzes

Each class (most classes) there will be a verbal quiz at the start of class. Approximately 5 questions will be asked out loud. First person to raise their hand will get to answer. For each correct answer you will get 5 marks.

A maximum of 2 questions can be answered correctly by the same person per class.

Over the course of the semester you can answer up to 4 questions. This will equal the full 20% available for this category.

The questions each class will be based on discussions from previous classes as well as the assigned readings and video tutorials.

Projects 50%

There will be two major projects in this class which will comprise 50% of your grade.
